Introduction

What are you going to do

You will become part of the IT team at ScreenCom. At ScreenCom we work with Samsung MagicINFO software and we develop additional MagicINFO add-ons and utilities. With this “MagicINFO family” we service our national and international customers with customized solutions. Want to team up and work for e.g. Opel, Yamaha Motors, British American Tobacco, Bol.com, Nuon and many other brands?! It’s up to you to turn their wishes and requirements into solid technical solutions.

As a full stack developer you help to develop and improve applications. These can be IT solutions for digital signage as well as internal applications that digitize business processes. You are involved in the design, development and testing of web applications. You like to reduce complexity and you can find the right balance between delivering quality and keeping momentum. You have experience and are by nature someone who takes the initiative and can include colleagues in your plans and vision. You will realize high-quality software products both independently and in a team, giving you plenty of room to contribute and develop your own ideas.

• Healthy mix in education/thinking level  and relevant experience (2 years or more) 
• Good Dutch and English communication skills
• Knowledge regarding the development of contemporary business (web) applications
• Experience at medior (or senior) level is an advantage,
• Have worked with and have an understanding of:
  • Git
  • NodeJS (and preferably Typescript)
  • MySQL and NoSQL
  • REST APIs
• Experience in open source software and open standards is a plus
• Curious and eager to learn about new developments
• You have a constructive attitude: if something can be improved, you come up with proposals, ideas and you deal with them proactively
• Strong analytical skills;
• Being able to handle freedom independently;
• Working customer-oriented;
