SMDC

Monitor and manage Tizen and Orsay players remotely from one dashboard

One dashboard, perfect overview

ScreenCom Multiple Displays Control (SMDC) allows you to manage your Samsung Smart Signage display with complete remote hardware control. Monitor and manage the settings remotely from one single dashboard. With SMDC you can manage displays from one central location. This allows you to solve problems remotely and saves a costly visit to the location. In addition, it provides data that allows you to monitor your signage network and spot and solve problems earlier.

Manage Tizen and Orsay players remotely
This MagicINFO add-on is very similar to the Samsung Remote Management Solution, but with SMDC you can manage not only the Tizen displays (formerly SSSP) but also Orsay displays as well. This solution works perfectly alongside solutions built on Tizen or MagicINFO and can also work without a CMS.

An SMDC Hub is added to the network, and this will scan all devices within the network using the RJ45 or RS232 protocol. Once you log into the SMDC server, a dashboard shows which displays are present in the network, which are on or off and whether they are generating errors.

In retail environments, displays are often mounted in places that are not easy to reach. If a display gives an error or there are other hardware problems, it can then be difficult to access the screen and check what is wrong. With SMDC you have remote access to all your displays. This allows you to solve problems remotely and saves a costly visit to the location. In addition, it provides data that allows you to monitor your signage network and spot and solve problems earlier. In this way, sales campaigns can continue uninterrupted, and customers always get an optimal brand experience
